BIKE
49 Puch 175SVS
At a raining evening I said
to Ineke Look a Puch SG150 for sale, never heard of I said. To mine opinion
it is a Puch 175. Further looking I found the two carburetors and I decided it
had to be a Puch 175SVS. Writing an
e-mail and asking some questions is simple but getting an answer is more
difficult, not now. The next day I received an e-mail in which they proposed
to look at the Puch, if I was really interested. Again an e-mail, again the
next day an e-mail back in which they told me that the Puch was running. On Saturday
we took the car to the sales company and had a look at the Puch. The result
bad looking but nice running and complete with the wrong gas tank. The final
result we bought the bike, and a coat and cloves for Ineke. Back to the
showroom just to brows around and looking for other bikes. And then back
home ????.
(proceed to the next page to read the
result).
It finally turned out to be
a Puch 125svs instead of a 175svs and even the gas tank turned out to be the
original one. It happens to be a so called racing sport with an easy to take
off gastank. Every time I look at her I have more pleasure in owning her,
due to the fact she is very special and only a few are made.
