October 2000 we made a trip through the south-west part of the USA. We started in LA and went trough Arizona and Nevada to Redding California. From Redding California we took the I-5 back to LA. In total we drove a little more then 3400 miles.

The trip is made on two Suzuki Intruder VS800, not the best performing bike you can think off but anyhow she is comfortable.

Both the bikes were in great condition. The trip was fully self supporting but partly taken from USA MOTORREIZEN of which we rented the bikes also.

After a long flight, a delay of almost 5 hours, a short night of sleep and a big jetlag we started with tour 1 on October 3.
